This website and the services described on it are provided by me, Francisco Sánchez, abogado, ICAS nº 16.386, a lawyer admitted to practise in Spain. I am not admitted to practise law in any US, Canadian or UK jurisdiction and do not advise on the law of those countries. Services are limited to Spanish law. Where US, Canadian or UK legal or tax advice is required, an appropriately qualified adviser should be consulted; the Spanish work can be coordinated with them.

Privacy policy
What I collect
When you use the contact form I collect your name, email address, country of residence, preferred language, the matter you select and your message. For security, my server also records your IP address and the time of the request.
Why I use it
I use this information only to reply to your enquiry, to assess whether I can help and, if you instruct me, to open and manage your matter. I do not sell or rent personal information and I do not use it for advertising.
Who can see it
Your message is delivered by email to Francisco Sánchez, who is responsible for your personal data. My hosting, email and security providers process data on my behalf. The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that the form is used by a person and processes technical data for that purpose under Cloudflare's own privacy policy. If you accept analytics cookies, Google processes data about your visit as described under Cookies, on the basis of your consent.
Where it is processed
Enquiries and matters may be handled from the United Kingdom and Spain, and your data may be processed in the United Kingdom, the European Union and the United States. Where European or UK data protection law applies, including the EU GDPR and the UK GDPR, I process your data on the basis of the steps you ask me to take before entering into an engagement and my legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
When personal data is transferred from the European Union or the United Kingdom to the United States or another country, I rely on the safeguards those laws allow, such as an adequacy decision, including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension where the recipient is certified, or standard contractual clauses.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 12 months. Client files are kept for as long as professional and legal obligations require.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or object to its use, by writing through the contact form. Please choose "Power of attorney, documents or another matter" as the matter and start your message with "Privacy request". I reply within one month. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies you can also restrict processing, ask for a copy of your data in a portable format and complain to a data protection authority, such as the Spanish Agencia Española de Protección de Datos or the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Residents of US states with privacy laws may have additional rights under those laws.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising cookies. With your consent, it uses Google Analytics 4 to measure how the website is used: pages visited, how you arrived, device and browser type, and an approximate location derived from your connection. Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<ID>, which last up to two years. They are set only if you click “Accept” in the cookie notice; if you reject them or make no choice, Google Analytics is not loaded. You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” at the foot of every page; your choice is stored in your browser’s local storage. Google signals and advertising features are switched off. The data is processed by Google, and Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension.
The contact page loads Cloudflare Turnstile, which may use strictly necessary technical data to protect the form against abuse. The website uses your device’s own system fonts; no third-party font service is used.
To show a link to my UK website to visitors from the United Kingdom, the site asks Cloudflare, which serves this website, for the country associated with your connection. That country code is not stored or sent to me. If you close the notice, your browser’s local storage remembers that choice on your device only.
